A great announcement this week that beavers are going to be reintroduced to the Cairngorms National Park. What a difference from 2 years ago when Nature Scot were culling them.

The Insh Marshes are perfect beaver habitat. The beavers will transform many other riparian landscapes too, greatly improving biodiversity whilst having a minimum impact on pastoral agriculture or forestry. The world’s best coppicers!
