What is the possibility of say three people coming together to purchase and divide a parcel of land between them? After keeping tabs on woodlands.co.uk for a few years it seems the prices are only going up. The average smaller piece of land comes in around £60k, which is still out of budget for most I’d assume. If three like-minded folk came together to divide the price to 20k each that seems much more manageable.
Would anyone be interested in exploring the idea of shared land ownership? Not too far from the central belt would be ideal for myself, and I see currently there are some nice looking plots available around Falkirk and Stirling.
On an even grander scale there is a huge Gartmore wood for sale at around £220k but between 10 people that would change things a lot, or is this just a bureaucratic minefield?
