I am a retired house builder looking for a hut site in rural Scotland and would be willing to volunteer help to new hut builders who might not have the skills if I could get there

Hi. I’ve just joined and quite new to the hutting movement. I’m trying to find my way in either through land acquisition and/or hut acquisition/build. Unfortunately I am no further forward due to my complete incompetence with I t skills I can still build or assist with building timber structures also have all the necessary tools thanks for the response I will endeavour to keep up with this best wishes eddie
Thanks for replying. I’ve recently moved from the east coast to d&g and liking the area very much, just got to find the right spot for a hut. Where are you? If it’s feasible I’d like to keep you on my radar for any building work, once I’ve got more solid plans - my IT skills aren’t great either but my building skills are non existent!
