Make your own Pole Lathe: 21/22 June


A Pole Lathe is a simple piece of technolgoy that’s been used for centuries to make turned items - from candlesticks and spindles to bowls and plates - using just leg power! On this weekend workshop, you’ll make your own Pole Lathe to take home with you, learning new skills as you create the component parts.

Tickets for this weekend workshop are £250, which includes all tools and materials. Workshops take place at Green Aspirations, Gartur, nr Port of Menteith Stirling, Scotland, FK8 3JY. The workshop takes place over 2 days - running around 10am to 4pm each day. Attendees are welcome to camp onsite for free. Tea and coffee are provided throughout the event but please bring your own food. You are welcome to cook over the fire.
