Woodland storytelling event because Every Tree Tells A Story

I’m exploring support for tree storytelling events at Pond Cottage (a small woodland and wetland site in Perth and Kinross I own with my husband).

A first event is planned for Saturday 25 May when James Bonner will talk about Every Tree Tells A Story followed by a woodland walk meeting trees with stories to tell – stories involving people, birds, bees, red squirrels and other wildlife.

We’re aiming for a small pilot group of local people bringing a mix of environmental and social interests. (Pond Cottage is part of Scotland’s Gardens Scheme supporting the work of Children’s Hospices Across Scotland – the CHAS hospice in Kinross, Rachel House, also has a fine woodland garden. )

Your views are very welcome. If you’d like to come please just get in touch. I’m adding the link for Every Tree Tells A Story, a really inspiring project I first heard about on the Local Zero podcast earlier this year. https://everytree.uk/ and Pond Cottage…Tales from Pond Cottage – Fay Young
